CHATHAM — Albany Berkshire Ballet will present a diverse selection of new works of dance developed through its unique Process & Performance initiative at 3 p.m. May 26 in the black box theatre at PS21, 2980 Route 66, Chatham.
Through Process and Performance, ABB’s evolving initiative to develop new repertory, Associate Artistic Director Mary Talmi has brought together top dance faculty from around the region to create works in a wide variety of dance mediums. Works by Erica Dankmeyer and Janine Parker of Wiiliams College, Eric Otto of Skidmore will be featured, along with repertory created by dual Artistic Directors Madeline Culpo and Mary Talmi, will be brought to life by company dancers Anna Acker, Ruslan Sprague, Marie Buser, Vincent Brewer, Lisa McBride.
“I’m deeply impressed by the energy and originality these artists have brought to the challenge of developing new work this year,” says Talmi, “This Spring repertory show at PS21 is a testament to the incredible caliber of talent in the dance world that we have throughout this region.”
